Alina Ali
About
Alina Ali — After earning her JD from The John Marshall Law School, Alina dedicated her time to advocating for survivors of gender-based violence at a Chicago- based nonprofit, and later joined the Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Transit Authority as an Equal Employment Opportunity Investigator. While she found her career incredibly rewarding, as it combined her passion for law and helping those in need, she wanted to expand the impact of her work beyond a local level. Currently, Alina is an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Manager for Feeding America's National Office where she is responsible for the development and implementation of Feeding America's racial equity action plan. Alina loves traveling, trying new foods, and planning adventures with her friends. Alina has been a supporter of the Definition Theatre Company since its inception and joined as a board member in September 2019. She is proud to be on the board of a theatre company that prioritizes the stories of systematically marginalized communities and individuals, and is excited to support its members and mission.
