Jabari Khaliq is a Chicago-based actor and photographer/videographer. Chicago credits include, Writers Theatre: The Hot Wing King (Everett), Steppenwolf Theatre: Purpose (u/s Nazareth), TimeLine Theatre: The Lifespan of a Fact (u/s Jim Fingal), Goodman Theatre: The Nacirema Society... (u/s Bobby Green), Toni Stone (u/s Jimmy/Stretch/Rufus), Perceptions Theatre: Black Magic (Hakeem), and Something Marvelous: Leftovers (Jalil).
He received his BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019. Since then he has also collaborated with Perceptions Theatre as Resident Photographer & Videographer and Artemisia Theatre as a member of their Leadership Coalition. When not working in and around theatre, Jabari runs Khaliq Photography, doing freelance work for both creatives and communities in Chicago. He proudly hails himself as an artist for all artists.
His first short film, 15 Lines, is also coming soon in 2025.
