Karyn Oates is proud to be an ensemble member with Definition Theatre. With nearly ten years of experience in nonprofit communications, fundraising, and employee relations, she also serves as Manager of Development Communications for the Chicago Public Library Foundation. Before the Library Foundation, Karyn secured philanthropic support and developed organizational culture strategies at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and Steppenwolf Theatre. Karyn earned her M.S. in Human Resource Management from Roosevelt University and her B.A. from Oberlin College.
