Mara Ishihara Zinky is a designer and artisan from Cambridge, MA. After graduating from The Theatre School at DePaul (BFA Scenic Design 2017), she was the 2017-2018 props fellow at The Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Since moving back to Chicago, she has designed scenery and props with Jackalope Theatre, UrbanTheater Company, and Adventure Stage. Her props work can also be seen onstage at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Steppenwolf Theatre, where she is an occasional artisan.
