Rita Wicks is a classically trained actress that has spent the past 10 years honing her skills through work that fosters connection, challenges societal norms and drive progress. She received her training from Illinois State University and Columbia College Chicago, where she earned her B.A. degree in 2022. Her notable credits include Is God Is (A Red Orchid Theatre), Chicago PD (NBC), Some Sort of Saint (Definition Theatre), The Blackside (Congo Square Theatre), Perdido (dir. by Muhammad Bilal), and Jane: Abortion and the Underground (Cats Cradle Theatre). She has also worked with Perceptions Theatre, Theater Wit, Shattered Globe Theatre, The Gift Theatre, and Ghostlight Ensemble Theatre. Rita is represented by Lori Lins Ltd. and wants to give a special thank you to the cast, crew, and all those who continue to support live theatre!
