Chris Sheard
About
Christopher Sheard has been a proud Ensemble Member of Definition since 2016 where’s he performed in A Doll’s House, An Octaroon and readings for our Amplify Series. In addition to being an actor, Chris serves as a social work intern where he works with individuals and groups who have challenges coinciding with autism, ADHD and social anxiety. He’s also heading back to school for social work to further support the mission of Definition. As an actor, he has collaborated with Definition, The Goodman Theatre, Writers Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Remy Bumppo, Steppenwolf, American Blues, TimeLine, Windy City Playhouse and upcoming at A Red Orchid Theatre. Regionally he has performed with Great River Shakespeare Festival and five seasons with American Players Theatre. He is represented by Grossman and Jack Talent. He received his MFA from The University of Illinois, his BA from Florida State University and is a member of Actor’s Equity and the Screen Actor’s Guild.
